how do you fix a warped canopy

just installed a 4" fan to reduce lighting temperature. The canopy cover is warped due to high temp by the retro kit attached to it. does this situation ever happened to anyone, how do you fix it. i put 4 yellowpages on it but doesn't help.

This could be trickey,or down right impossible to fix.My first thought would be to do it how you would fix any warped board.Use something straighter,and stronger than the warped board and glue/screw it to the back.But this may not work in this application.You could try taking it off the tank,removing all the lighting,, then soak it down with water in the yard...Then put bricks or something similarly heavy on it to straighten it out and let it sun dry..What is the warped piece made out of??? If it is OSB you will not be able to fix it....In any case my final idea is just replace the warped piece.Also after this is fixed,,,Be sure to seal the wood so moisture cant get into it and warp it all over again...(this is most likly caused by moisture in the wood,,,not heat)
