how do you hand feed a peppermint shrimp?

ive seen alot of posts saying people hand feed there shrimp of all kinds, and after the shrimp gets used to this tends to come out more at feeding time, as it is right now, our peppermint shrimp wont come out at feeding time at all, and we almost never see him, so can someone tell me how you hand feed them and what is the easyest food to use for this? seems like the frozen foods would be to hard to hold onto for it. TIA

mine just comes out and eats flakes right off my fingers....but he isnt to shy either. I would just keep trying and maybe start off by dropping a little bit around him until he becomes alittle more comfortable with the idea of a huge human hand giving him food and not trying to squish him
