How do you keep your sand settled?

So I bumped me PH last night and didn't notice I slightly changed the angle of the flow so I arrived home to a 5 inch pile in one spot and hardly any in another spot.
How do deal with powerhead distubring your flow? Those of your with Closed loop, how do you pan if your close loop is going to move your sand around alot? Do you just not worry?

just change the angle of the ph or change the pressure. It's not a big deal. Just move the sand back where you want it.

yeah, just play with the direction of the PH. I had the same problem when i switched over to sand
