I'm still new to Corals and just ordered some by mail for the first time. I ordered some green zoos, a toadstool and a euphylia. How do I know if they died or were damaged during shipping? I'm drip acclimating at the moment.

There is no need to drip acclimate corals. You can temp acclimate then place them in. If its a trusted source you purchased from you can chance putting them in your DT right away. I like to do a FW dip on mine, and them hold them in my QT for a week.
In any case depending on the coral your water would be tainted a brownish color if they were damaged. Fleshy substance maybe comming off them too. They will prob all be closed and stay that way for a day to 3 days after placing them in your tank. At the acclimation process its really difficult to tell if somthing is wrong or they are just closed up and stressed a bit. Only definate sign would be a horrible odor when you take them out. And basically they would be like slime and look nothing like they should. Hope this helps.
