petjunkie Active Member Jan 24, 2008 #2 Wait and see if it rots away? Seriously though I've had leathers come back from looking very dead so as long as there's no worry of total tank pollution I would leave it be for a while. Run some fresh carbon.

anonome Active Member Jan 24, 2008 #3 Run carbon for sure, in case it is dieing. It is a waiting game. Look for the stump to start detiorating. Good luck.
