how do you know if its happy..

I have a long "tentacle" (polyp? whats proper term) coral and I was wondering how to know if its happy.. when its extended all the way out? when its tentacles are thick it seems unhappy... what about the center of it. does it actually have a mouth? Should I be spot feeding it? Ill have to take a picture of its "mouth" how does it grow?

looks good! mine wld eat anything it cld get its tentacles on lol but i wld give it scallops and silversides once a week

wow yours is huge!! mine had grown a great deal since i started feeding it lol.. go figure! thanks for the compliment, yours is very nice also
