After I acclimate them, how do I place them on my lr? Do I just set it down whre I want it and it will attach? Also, I would like to know how different people acclimate. I have heard you have to drip, but I have also heard you can just do trhe float method. Any input appreciated! My new nano has just cycled and here are my readings
Calc. around 410
Ph 8.3
salinity 1.025
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate-10ppm
All is well and once I get some more money I will be looking to buy some bullseye shrooms that my lfs has! Also I might try a black percula. Oh yeah my tank is a ten gallon. TIA

well what kind of corals do you have? all the corals i get are attached to rocks already so all i have to do it place it somewhere where it doesnt move or fall. my trusted lfs owner said i didnt really need to acclimate just let the tempurature in the bag be the same as your tank tempurature.

My suggestion is to use thread and just tie it to the rock. it will attach after a week or to and you can remove the string if you want. My xenia just grew over the thread so I had fishing line sticking out of the base of my xenia right now
. Be careful about the corals attached to rocks. Hermits and snails have this annoying tendancy to just push the corals all over the tank. Belive me I know. I have 4 or 5 frags that still arent really attached to anything except the rock they came on becasue the hermits push them off the rock befor they can spread and attach. So eventually i will be taking the larger rock ou of the tank dry off a small section and super glue the frag rock to it. I will also be scrubbing hair algea off it
