I have a small brine shrimp hatchery that I can get them to hatch from a mix but then what? They are so small when I put them into the tank I think they go right up the filter! Any info would be appreciated

Ive seen food for the little guys in lfs'. Also has something to do with changing the direction of the light. SOUNDS LIKE TOO MUCH TROUBLE. Wait a minute, what IS too much trouble to someone who is trying to duplicate the ocean in there livingroom. STEVE

hi, davey. I think I saw you in another conversation. If you have seahorses in the tank ,and are trying to feed the brine shrimp you will want to turn off the filters better you drop them in the tank. The filter can be turned back on about 15min. later. There is also a web site full of cool brine shrimp equiment, etc. They sell a holding tank that you put the brine shrimp in so they can't escape then the seahorse or fish eat them through the wire mesh. It has a picture of the container. the web site is www.brineshrimpdirect.com. I have read that you can fed brine shrimp just a pinch of baby fish flakes. hope this helps.
