How do you take good pictures????

I try to take pictures but I can never get them as nice as everyone else. What settings do you put your cameras on?

Well first of all... a descent camera with a lot of practice and patience.
Another is not using the flash.. I forget the various settings as I have to look up the f stop and shutter speed each time I do.
Research, practice... and when you find a good setting write it down for future use. You can always delete bad digital pictures so just keep shooting.

don't point straight, point the camera on an angle.
I also hold the camera right up to the glass.

I used a Canon powershot A610, canon stopped making them which was a dumb move, it is worth it to find one on e.ba.y. Also look for the A620 or A650IS. A650IS. Canon no longer makes the powershot series instead replacing it with a total crap series of cheaper cameras.

Some of the best pics are taken with SLR's and a macro lens. I use a D60
