but I think in my personal opinion, it looks ok and fun for the fish but it looks from the outside a bit branch and open. I plan to (when I get my tank started in a couple weeks) create a concave feeling.
Starting from the front left, curving out towards the back and back into the front on the right. Like a peice of hoola hoop.
I also want to take the middle out and just create a bridge with about a 6" opening so the front and under the brige is nice and sandy...then maybe put crustations down there like clams and so forth and then a couple intrestly shaped peices.
I like the not so cluttered look. I want to give them hiding but then not too much hiding that ill never see my fish.
Good luck!

Without getting into the specifics of the different styles of arranging, I would recommend keeping the tonga branch in groups and on top, and not interspersed with the regular LR. IMO, that doesn't look natural. In the wild, those branches would be on the top of the other rocks.

I liek it but I think Frenkenberry has an excellent point!! Also - you might try "planting" some ofthat tonga in the sandbed and trying to get somethign to grow on it (like GSP or mushrooms or zoo's).....
just a thought - get it set the way you want it before stocking ... much harder to do later!!

ok not being a reefer just yet i think it looks pretty cool and i can agree on what other's have said. I think their tanks would look awesome at the same time... and the mental pic of what Scott V said is something that I would have not considered before. Thanks for opening up my eye's.

What Krish said sounds like a good plan. Keeping it as realistic looking as possible. Someone also said to try putting a couple branches in the sand bed. Sounds like a good idea.
