Summerdaze,
assuming you are talking about pulsing xenia, it depends on water quality. If you are really good with your chemistry, you could have 30 stalks taking over your tank in just a few months.
We had it taking over our tank and I gave a frag to my neighbor. His water chemistry was a little off and the whole stalk "melted" in about 24 hours.
The Kenya will grow to about 4-5 inches and then begin dropping frags by the dozen. It will probably take a few months to a year.
All of this is dependent on your lighting. I've lost track of your progress so I don't know what lighting you ended up with.
In general, coral grows over a period of months to years. Of course there are plenty of exceptions, but the golden rule of reef keeping is patience. This is the most difficult part in this hobby. If we give these creatures plenty of light, good water chemistry, and a lot of time they will all grow and fill in our reef.
You might find it helpful to buy a book or two about keeping corals in the reef. We find that we still pull ours off the shelf every few months when questions arise.
