How long do Anenomes live in captivity?

I was told that they can only live for up to two years tops, by experienced people. I was told this by someone who's opinion and advice I hold highly. So I am assuming this is the truth.
Has anyone had one for a while or over a year?

I have a seaba I have had for over 7 years. They live as long as they are taken care of.

They require very special care and tank conditions.Even with these perfect conditions it is rare to have one as long as Fishman...GOOD JOB. I am going on just over 1.5 yrs with two carpets.

in the home aquarium anemone rarely live over 2 years...1 year is a long time too.
In the wild some believe anemones to be immortal. They are living over 100 years in the wild.
