i have a domino damsel and a humma in a 30gal tank. the level are fine and they have been in there for 3 or 4 mths. recently the damsel has popeye and the humma is using the rocks as a scratching post. i treated the damsel and he looks better. the humma still has a strong appitite and shows no signs (other than the scratching) of being sick. should i use a copper treatment now or wait?

Are you planning to treat in a QT or in the display? What type of tank do you have?
You can not use copper at all except in a strictly FO tank, and, even then, copper will stress your tank environment significantly.
If you have a FO tank, I would suggest doing a hyposalinity treatment. Completely safe for FO tanks, and equally effective. There is info on the procedure in the FAQ Thread at the top of this forum.
