When treating with copper, you need to be sure that your copper is compatible with your copper test kit. Maintain theraputic levels of copper in the tank of .25-.30ppm for 3 wks.
the copper i am using says that one dose treats the tank for 1 month.......I am also feeding my fish garlic soaked brine shrimp i have heard that it helps build the fish's immune system and helps defend against ich.

Copper is toxic to all invertebrates. You should take them and your live rock out of the tank. Preferably copper should be used in a hospital tank so you don't damage your sand also.
