how long does it take for coraline algae to start growing?

I currently run VHO lighting, medium to high GPH. Add Calcium, stontium, Iodide, and others. I keep the lights on full for a max of 8 hours.

I've heard coraline likes Actinics better than Daylight bulbs. Running Actinics only during cycling also limits algae growth.

If your conditons are optimum and you have a good seeding you should see it start spreading in less than a month. Do a search for more info as there is a basic "recipe" for it to grow quickly.
