How long does it take mushrooms to multiply?

We have a somewhat newish tank, 54 gallons a ocellaris, bullet head goby, a decent size cuc, bubble tip anenome (which is fed often) and multiple mushrooms.. They are HUGE and do really weel, our tank parameters are pretty close to flawless I'm just wondering how many months/years it takes for corals (of any kind) to really spawn and do well?

I prefer to assist the process with mushrooms. You can do multiple processes each requiring a razor. You could cut it like a pizza , or clip the foot and that will make two one new one old or you can slice and dice. Even the stringy ooze will eventually turn into a mushroom if it sits in one place long enough.
That's the easy answer. Otherwise time, one day you will notice a new cap next to the big one. It just appears no notice or anything. Good lighting, good water quality, etc.

Pushing them along is usually the fastest, I had three mushrooms that just sat in my tank for a year and never split on their own.
