How long does it take?

how long does it take for fish to grow....it seems like its been forever i have a 55 gallon with 2 clowns and some others but the clowns havent grown much at all and i have had them for a good 4 to 5 months and they are still pretty small

have you compared them to newer baby clowns at the fish store.....i thought mine were not growing either until i went the one day and said "wow those clowns are tiny ,,,they really are growing but it is hard to tell cuz i see them everyday"
