I got one a week ago and it still looks stressed to me it has been in the same spot for 2 days now but the lights are on and its all tucked in like a ball. How long does it usually take them to settle in?
when i read your title i was going to say about a week. then i read your post, and voila it took a week
while replacing my tank, my bta actually split and both are now going through stages of deflating, balling up, getting light, etc, so as long as it's not deteriorating just leave it be
my anemones that i got about a month ago are still moving around. they wil stay in a spot about 5-6 days then move. one of them has now crammed itself inbetween my rock and the glass, he looks squished to me but is thriving well.
i have been feeding my anemones frozen krill, live brine, and feeder fish, they take this food readily.
An anenome thats on the move all the time typically isnt a happy one.. IMO I would wait a week to see if it foots and if not investigate as to why not. Water chemistry, flow, lighting and or food maybe a factor. It will compromise and take what it needs at that moment and then move on to seek out what it is lacking. Just my 2 cents.
