I have had my tank up and running now for 2 weeks. I have 60lbs of reefsand. 35lbs of pre-cured live rock and am running my lights 14 hours a day, it's a 55 gallon with 6 damsels. All of my levels are at 0, Salinity at 1023. PH 8.3, Running 2 filters and a protein skimmer. Have a couple of emerald crabs and 4 turbo snails, I have some algae on one live rock in the center but none anywhere else. I was told by the lfs that with me running my lights like that the algae should be in full bloom. I just want to make sure I have enough for the snails and crabs to live off of....Thanks.
