how long for coraline to develop in a tank?

Im coverting my 30 gal FOWLR to reef and wondering how long it takes to really start to encrust all over.
My lighting is one 20w NO 10K
and 14K MH 175 MH pendant.
The coraline seems have to spread a little on the rock.
This morning noticed three pink dots of it my powerhead....I CANT BELIEVE I GOT EXCITED OVER THIS!
water parameters are very good and calcium is 450 if that helps.
WHat other supplements enhance or promote its growth?

It depends on a few things mainly current, calcium and amount you have from the start.

More current works better. Plus Calcium and Alkalinity. What worked for me was to make sure the parameters are good and stable, using a buffer, and when the coralline started to show, I used a small bristle brush(like the kind used for cleaning tubing) and brushed it a little to spred minute particles in the current. Now it is everywhere. Maintain those parameters! --Bob
