how long for zoos to attach?

ok, so i removed a small clump of zoos from one of my main colonys i am holding it to a piece of rock with thread, how long before it holds on it's own and i can remove the thread?

Easiest way to fix it is to take it out and add a little super glue to the rock and place the zoos on it. Just be careful not to glue them closed. Works like a charm.

superglue will not effect the fleshy bits of the zoos?

As long as you dont glue the part that opens all will be well. I like superglue gel. Its a little easier to work with.

But to answer your question... it should only take a couple of days but I would give it a week and you will be all set.
