I am moving my tank to a new house and have had much of my live rock in buckets full of saltwater at room temp for 24 hours so far. will it still be live if I get it back in the tank within the next day?
If you can, add at the very least an airhose for water movement, if the buckets are small. Also put in a heater or keep it in the warmest room to keep temp within normal tank range (75 would be okay).
Live rock is shipped in a sealed bucket. The rock is wrapped in damp newspaper. you will lose some critters but Ive done it before and I didnt lose much. good luck.
