How long should i wait after white spot?

i found out i had white spot last week, after speaking to the shop were i get my fish from they told me the best way to get rid of it was to fresh water dip them, after a few hours of catching them i had done them all, its been about 3 days since this has happened i was wondering when i should be putting another fish in my tank,
I know i must wait but does any one know how long for!!!
