How long should lights be on?

Good Day,
I have a 55 gallon tank with Fish, some inverts and 85lbs of Live Rock. How long and at what time of day should I be running my lights? I am currently running 5050 reef lights from Zoomed.

Typically between 8-10 hours per day I think is average. Time of day is up to you. I typically start mine late morning so I can enjoy it when I get home in the evening.

Agreed on the 8-10 hours. My husband and I are night owls to some degree, so we run ours from early afternoon until later in the evening.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking the exact same time. I start the lights at 1pm and turn off at 9 pm so I can enjoy the tank in the evening.
