can be very fast (in weeks) or very slow.. (months and months).
It depends on two things
- environment: are they happy, healthy, getting enough flow, proper water parameters, enough lighting, nothing irritating them etc.
- species: some species of corals (in general) grow faster than others. That even goes for different morphs of the same coral.
Ive had corals that wouldnt grow in my 44g, but are busting at the seams in my 24g... why? who knows.
Its the same like how some people cant kill xenia, and others cant get it to live.
Hopefully for you, your corals will show growth but honestly... its very dependent.
Good Luck
Jessica.

as stated b4, it depends. but from my experience, if u put 2 zoas or space competing corals next to each other, they will grow faster. the reason is they r trying to outgrow each other. i hv zoas and gsp growing like nuts once i put them 1 inch apart.
