How long to quarantine?

Is a week long enough to quarantine a blue hippo? He's not showing any signs of disease. He is very timid and does not come out from behind his rock very often.

I agree with anthem, one week is too little of a time to quarantine, 2 weeks is good, but three weeks is better.

Before any fish go into my tank, I plan to QT for about 3 weeks.. Believe me, it's worth it..
