One day I want to start breeding clowns but I know I am going to have to have the time, money and patients to do it . Plus I need to read the clownfish book and ask a lot of questions. How long does it take 2 clowns to mature and lay eggs if I get small ones ?

There is no guarantee they will spawn . You will need to do a lot more than read Clownfishes .

Generally they will be 2 years old before spawning. I have had some spawn at an earlier age but rarely.
