I have a leak in my Aqua remora. Its where the input tube connects to the body of the skimmer. I sealed it with silicone. Do I need to wait the full 48 hrs for it to cure or can I start my skimmer sooner.

24 hours should be fine, but just go ahead and wait the 48 it won't hurt to not run the skimmer for that short a time.
How long was it out of commission?

I guess a couple more days wont hurt, I havent had it in the tank in a while.
I changed out my sump, and was going to put it there, but it wont fit. My pipes are in the way.
Its undersized for the tank, but this is better then nothing. Its rated for up to 120 gal and my tank is 150 plus 40 gal sump

Yeah, as long as the tank looks good and there is no weird color to the water, or little stuff floating in it. I wouldn't worry.
