How many bulps can I run.....

off a ARO model AS-220 VHO light ballast? It will be for a 75 gallon tank, so I am looking at 48" bulbs or close to it.

You can only run a total of 220 watts. That means two 110 VHO bulbs, five 40 watt bulbs, etc. I'd use the two 110 VHOs. It's cheaper and believe it or not better.
