How many fish are too many fish?

I have a 12 gallon aquapod made by current and I currently have a stripeless ocellaris clownfish, a midas blenny, and a yellowtail damsel. All the fish get along quite well and the levels in my tank are all normal! So would putting another fish into my tank, like a very small ocellaris clownfish, be too much? My LFS said that I could possibly have four fish but that is my absolute max on fish!!!! What do you thik? :notsure:

I wouldnt do it, pushing it as it is with the midas, mine is over 5 inches. I have 4 fish in my 15 gal, but they are smaller fish, and i am going to put at least 1 of them in my 150 DT if they get bigger.

I would get rid of the damsel. He will be a killer in such a small tank. Clowns require like a 20 gallon.
If you add them as a pair.

I want to put a Clown in my 14Gal. Are you saying it will need a larger tank?? There is just a Pajamia Cardnail in it now.

Cardinals and clowns both can get 3-5 inches so you are really limiting your self on amount of fish. I would not put a pr. of clowns in there with the cardinal either.
