How many watts does a GBTA need?

Not true.
PCs and VHO will work just fine.
For instance, I have 260 watts PC lighting, and my BTA is only about 8 or 9 inches away from the lights. My lights are only 2 inches above the water surface.
Just make sure that the anemone can get as close to the lights as it wants.
This only applies to BTAs.
Any other "host" anemone would require MH.

I know MH's are best for anemonies but I cant get them for my tank. (exspinsive! :scared:) So I'm glad they will survive under PC's! I'm thinking of replacing my Condi with a GBTA hoping my clowns will host it. :cheer:

IMO and IME 130 watts of PC is insufficient for any hosting species of anemone.
