How Many Wrasses?

How many wrasses is too many? I was thinking about getting 2 yellow coris wrasses and 1 or 2 fairy wrasses for my 125 gallon reef. Would that be too many? Do wrasses fight eachother like angels do?

Per the Fish Combat Chart, Wrasse & Wrasse not good. It will be hit or miss be ready to pull on out. I only have one in my 135gal. xmass wrasse they are very active needs sand bed to sleep in.

Bigger wrasses need room-and they are big eaters--I have a birdnose, pinklined, and coris(they get along fine)-in my 150-would not get anymore-they could probably even use a bigger tank --there are smaller wrasses that do well in smaller tanks-there is a large variety of these wonderful fish. Other wrasse owners-speak up!

I have a sixline in my 90gal. Was looking at getting another smaller wrasse but could never get an answer on if I could keep another wrasse with my sixline. I am interested in the answer to this question as well.

ususally 2 wrasses are a big NO NO
the only wrasses that I think are exceptions are
bird wrasses fairys and flashers (male and females) and the yellow wrasses (sometimes called yellow coris but truely arnt)
agressive wrasses never get along for any great amount of time and sooner or later they will fight to the death

I wasnt planning on getting any of the big wrasses. I read that yellow wrasses do better in pairs. Is that true? Also how big do they get?

I have a sixline and a radiant in the same tank. They were the same size when introduced to each other so no real bullying occurred. After a few days they got along great and now explore the tank together. Both had great personalities at the lfs. That and size is what I went by when pairing them up. Hope this is any help. (If you plan on a dragonet later stick to one wrasse or get a bad a$$ fuge going)
