MH lights? I heard it can be expensive when you get these lights. Someone told me expect to pay an extra $50 a month with the lights and the rest of the setup. True or another fish story?

just make sure everything else is turned off. I have two tanks and have seen no increase. I got very anal about having lights off that are not needed. My roomate kept leavng some on so i took out the bulbs in just the lights that you really could do without.
