How much does LR cost in your area?

I just got LR for my 6 gal and got just a little over 5 lb of LR and it cost me over 40$!!
I've been reading about people setting up 29 and 50gal tanks and putting 45-50lbs of LR in and I'm thinking how much did that cost?
So, I was curious as to how much LR cost in different areas.
I live in eastern MA and it goes for 7.99-12.99 lb.

Here in Milwaukee, WI I've seen it as low as $5.99, all the way up to $14.99.
My favorite lfs owner will give you a price, take it or leave it, by looking at the rock and making up a number. I've gotten some good deals that way.

7.99lb or the "petbox" store has it per piece for granite non-porous looking stuff per piece.
But yeah.. need 10lbs? 80 bucks... 100lbs? 800 bucks... no thanks I'll order on line.

Live Rock here in Northern Michigan is $5.99 for Base Rock all the way up to $12.99 for Premium Rock

it depends really.. we have gotten fiji rock (in my small tank) for $7.99 a lb and weve gotten bahamian rock for about $3 a pound.

It been a while since i've posted on the boards....zoie2, talk about timing. I just go rid of a portion of some great liverock from my 29g tank (about 25lbs) . I took down my 29g tank and used what I needed in my nano and sold the rest to a local lfs for $3/lb.
