How much flow?

I have a 90 gallon tank and was wondering what size koralias I should have. I only have a small powerhead now and my return from my sump creates very little flow. Is it better to have several smaller ones or a bigger one. this is my first tank that I ever had a problem with flow in so im not too sure what to do. Thanks

I would give a couple of larger PHs a shot ,at least 4's.Opposite ends of tank making your water turbulent.

I always shot for around 30x turnover with 20 being the min. and up around 50-60x for SPS. So for a 90g I would say around 2700gph would be good. I would use 2 Koralia 4's plus you return.

Ok thanks . How high /low should they be placed in the tank. And Iwas told to face them tothe overflow. I also heard that if they face eachother it would create dead spots and the stuff at the bottom wouldn't be able to rise to the top and filter out through the overflow. Is this true?

It is best just to play with them until you have no dead spots. It will be different for all tanks because each aquascape.

I like the idea of two number 4's, as well, one on each side of the tank. I have my Koralia's at the top of my tank, one pointing up and one pointing down.
