How much light do I need?

I am currently setting up my 65 gallon. The tank measures 36x18x24. I am looking into the reedbreeders fixtures but don't know which one I would need for my set up.... I want something that I could eventually have any kind of coral and live rock.

You could get away with one of the 32" Photon units. You would hang them about 8-10" off the surface of the water, so it should cover the entire tank. You should not see any difference from the far sides of the tank to the middle section.

I did forget to mention I do have a centerbrace on the tank. Will this affect the light choice? I also have glass tops on the tank! Can these LEDs penetrate through the glass to the bottom of the tank?

The center brace is not an issue. You should remove the glass tops (not for the light, but for better gas exchange on your SW tank).
You can adjust the optics on the LEDs if you are concerned about them penetrating to the bottom of the tank. I don't see an issue going with the standard 90 degree optics that come with the Photon units. I have 2x 32" photons on my 125g. I have no issues with the two center braces I have and I believe that my tank is 22" deep, corals on my sand bed get all the light they need.

I have a 3ft wide 50g tank with 2 d120s on it...I love them!
They don't have the controllability as the photon units but they work great for the price....

I like your hanging solution!!! Did you make the bracket or was it something you bought ready to be set up??
Are your D120's full spectrum? I believe that they are dimmable... Right?

I got to choose my own led layout...
These are dimmable from 1-100% but are not controllable unfortunently...
The hanging system I made,lol
It's a 10ft electrical conduit pipe that I used a pipe bender to bend the 4 bends...(took 4 different pipes to do it but they are only $3 each, lol)

Yeah. Those D120's are pretty slick units (especially for the price!!).
Nice work using the conduit pipe. I bet there will be lots of folks that want something like that for their units too. Shoot for $12.00 in materials, can't beat it.
