how much lighting

How much lighting would someone suggest for 180g reef tank? 6ft long?
I would like to keep clams but no SPS corals. Thanks for the help!!

yup i agree... id do the mh as 10k and add some t5 actinic sup

250W MH will do the trick, but whether you go HQI or Mogul is up to you. I personally like the mogul lights better above 175W. The lighting needs are pretty much the same for SPS and clams.
