i think 20lb is more then enough. kep in mind that most of the corals come with a piece of rock too, so later on you'll have a lot more then you start with.

i personaly like to start with less rock than 2lb per gal, and then little by little you work your way up by adding more corals.
this is my 20L gal tank...

Id start with about a pound per gallon and then add more. Especially if you get it online and cant see it because you might get some huge pieces that are less dense and then it may look like too much rock. I have a 20 gallon. I had 6-7 pounds before and i ordered about 18 , so now total 24-25 and I know im not adding more because i hardly had room to aquascape the rocks in a way i wanted now. Just a thought. Plus when you get corals later a lot of times they are attached to small rocks.

I've got 19-20#'s of LR in my 10. I've been getting frag's instead of big pieces of coral, and have enjoyed watching them grow. IMO, it's pretty cool to see that the environment you put them in, is of such good quality, that they're able to thrive! It's kinda like they never left home.
