How Much LS To Seed Dead Sand?

The more you put in, the faster the seeding. So in other words u really don't need much to do it slowly.

Another good thing to think about is diversifying the 'life'. Get a cup of sand from several different live sand beds and pour it on top of your sand bed. Do it with the lights off though, because some of the pods will float up and be eaten by your livestock. Good luck!

We really need a live rock exchange program, to get the diversity of life that we really need, just a cup from someones tank isn't enough for a DSB to be seeded and populated correctly, look into getting some crud from the bottom of an LFS liverock curing bin, ditrivore kits from online sources, reef aquarium clubs if available, as many sources as possible.
