How much LS?

How many lbs of LS would you guess to get 4 inches of base in a 48X18 tank? It's a 110 gallon 30" tall tank. I'm thinking of getting the awful crushed stuff out and trying to salvage the LS I do have in there over it, there's about 60 lbs in there now.

I would guess about another 120 lbs

You will need about 180 pounds of sand to get 4 inches of sand if you tank base measurement is 48 x 18 inches and thats if your sand weighs 90 pounds pcf

For a 4 inch bed you need about 140lbs becuase 180 lbs would give about a 5 inch bed depth
