How much nori do you feed?

Hey guys! Got some new fish this weekend, a foxface, a boxer shrimp and a gold head sleeper goby! Think I've completed my stocking now minus maybe a mandarin.

Just wanna know how much nori you guys would feed this foxface? I bought the omega one green seaweed. Comes in this very large sheets. I was thinking of breaking off a 4x4cm piece and feeding that every second day. Would you reccomend more?

Edit: just read they need aome algae in their diet but not as much as tangs. So algae sheets maybe only twice a week would be better do you think? He's the only real herbivore I have

(P.s I know about the sleeper goby needing a well established sandbed, think the refugium has helped me get there so I'll find out if I'm ready for it soon enough)

Hey mate! Doing good :) got some new fish including my first non beginner fish (gold head sleeper goby) so excited to see how this challenge goes! Loving this little boxer shrimp too.

The new foxface went to town on all my algae haha..

How's the cyano? And the fish?

Yeah have read the goby might be a challenge but seem to know what your doing and have researched that already Livestock all fine cyano is dying out but the GHA is thriving in DT/sump. Ordered a new light hoping that might improve things Thinking my DIY light is helping it grow.

Nice! I feel like continuous manual removal, feeding and water changes will eventually kill it because you'll eventually starve it out

I reckon I feed about twice that on a daily basis along with the frozen soaked in phyto rich tank water. Between my yellow tang, niger and the others there are no left overs.

I like to spread the feedings out though whenever possible to 3 feedings a day. But some days 3 times just doesn't happen. That's life.

I put in 1/5 of the algae sheet, folded up many times so it wouldn't disintegrate and fo the tank.

Foxface has eaten about 1/10 of this after 5hrs, keeps nibbling on I think though but prefers the algae in my tank.

Should I remove it now? He liked the mysis once he tried some

Take it out. It's probably going to take time to get used to eating it. Especially if it's on a clip.

I stopped using a clip a while ago. Now I just tear it up into tiny flakes and mix it in with the frozen food. I let it all soak for a little bit so the pieces are less likely to float to the top. Although a few will float to the top it doesn't matter. They gobble it up quickly anyway.
