how much live rock should i get for a 24g

24 to 36 pounds is recomended. some tanks will take more some less depending on how you aquascape and what fish you are planning on houseing.
the most recomended amout is 1-1and 1/2 pounds per gallon of rock and sand though.

I am looking at a 24 also.Can I do 2 clowns ,1 sixline,&Flame angel and be ok.

I wouldn't add the flame. they need a 50gal or larger with lots of lr. Do a royal gramma or orchid dotty back. Lotts of color.

it really depends on what you are going to do with your tank.
FO - none
FOWLR - 24 to 48 lbs
REEF - depends on your bioload. you can use the rule above or you can do a mini patch reef with lots of open space but minimal fish load.
