How noisy are tanks?

I'm in the planning stages on a 155BF with some sort of sump in the stand below the tank(drilled), and I'm wondering just how loud the equipment and the water running from the DT to the sump will be? Do the pumps humm/buzz a lot? Do you hear the water trickling from the DT to the sump, and back from the sump to the DT?
Also, how far out from the wall is required to get clearance for the plumbing behind the tank?

My 210 is pretty quiet. I don't notice it at all anymore.
I left about 3" behind the tank for plumbing because I ran a closed loop behind my tank.

when we first set up our 130, spousal unit was not happy with noise. IMO was not bad. after a short time week or so she does not notice. Noise blends in with the house quickly

noise will blend in pretty quick and you will not notice.
