so, I'm just curious. How often are you in your tank and why? I feel like I am in my tank all the time, whether it's to scrape the front glass or to fix a tipped over coral. I was just curious if that is how it is suppose to be?

The less I'm in my tank the better. I'm so anal that sometimes the fish probably think I'm a habitant of the tank. Most my corals are finally placed well and do not need to be moved. All my rock is in good places. I'm pretty much out of my tank now.

You are always going to be in your tank at first. When the tank if finished then you can just enjoy it.

I think I am in my tank more than ever, I get my sleeves wet at least once a day. usually two or three times.

I used to spend about 6 hours a week in my tanks.

But those days are over.
Now not much at all...

no less than every few days. there's always something to do/move/clean/feed/adjust. I wouldn't do well with an aggressive tank with finger biting triggers and eels.

Funny I was going to start the same thread with same question. I'm in my tank all the time. I really hate to be though because I feel I'm stressing my fish.
Every other day: Feeding so I can spot feed my gobies (they only take food from the bottom) scraping the glass.
Once a week: Water change
Random things: fallen coral and turkey basting the LR
I feel I'm in it way too much.

lots less now then when I started. A little bit each day for feeding adn the very occasional toppled symphyllia. my gorgo needs uprighting once every few days too. Anybody know a great way to attach it to some LR so it won't perish. It was sold tome unmounted. There is a little indent on the bottom of themain stalk, adn I sould glue in there while keeping it unerwater, but I don't want to get epoxy areound its outer tissue, right? It is a deep sea yellow.

since my current tank is fairly new i'm in it pretty often like once a day or every other day. at this point i always find something to move/adjust but i'm sure it will stop after i get everything to a spot i like the most. As far as other things like cleaning glass etc... i try to do all this on water change day so it is only being disturbed once a week.

at least three times a day to feed the seahorses.. gotta round the little buggers up to feed em. then more times to clean and maintain throughout the week.
