+1, mysis soaked in selcon twice a day. if your horses are too small for mysis you can try gutloaded brine shrimp... but they MUST be gutloaded or soaked in selcon because alone they have 0 nutritional benefit.

Are these reg horses or dwarfs. Dwarfs only take newly hatched brine, enriched.
reg horses if CB should take PE mysis
wild caught should be fed small enriched ghost shrimp, until you can ween them to frozen
dwarfs fed at least 3 to 4 times a day, and reg horses 2 to 3 times a day

dwarfs only eat newly hatched bbs....even the smallest frozen will be ignored by them...and alot of bbs....I feed mine at least twice to 3x a day

ok from my limited first hand expirience with them, if it dont wiggle they dont eat it. (dwarf seahorses) total expirience 1 horse, still alive, less than 1 month. I was told it would eat frozen, it doesnt. not daphnia, cyclops or anything, only baby brine.

baby brine does not need to be enriched, and adult brine is too large for dwarf seahrsos to eat.
its best to feed the baby brine shrimp within 6 hours of hatching so the dwarf horses have enough time to eat their fill before the napthulii consume their yolk sacks.

I feed mine twice a day, although some days they get just one feeding. I try to vary their diet as much as possible. Enriched mysis is a staple. However, at times I don't enrich(varying diet). I will feed adult brine shrimp, feeder shrimp, and amphipods, when I have them. For the dwarf seahorses, I feed them bbs and they will also take the tisbe copepods (sold on this site). Jan
