YES you do... Rule of thumb is every 12 months for MHs..only real way to be certain is with a lux meter....however,most people dont go to that extreme.

Yes,of course....bulbs will lose the "spectrum" of light that they are supposed to give off..hence effecting your coral growths... You CANNOT see the difference with the n aked eye...but your corals can tell for sure.
