How should a mated pair act?

Is it normal for the larger (female) clown to bully the smaller (male) clown? I know she is supposed to be the dominant one but does she have to show it so much? They both look healthy and shes not beating the poop out of him or anything, but it does seems like she goes a little out of her way to let him know who's boss!

yep, she can be really mean to her mate.........that is perfectly normal. Just watch out so that she doesn't seriously hurt him.

yea its normal for the female to bully the male around. my female will swim across my 48" tank to push the male around.
my female clownfish was so mean to a male that she caused him to jump out of the tank
