how to acc coral

ok guys i have had my tank for 2years. i normally drip acc everything i get. i am thinking about coral for the first time how do i acc a coral. can someone ou guys help me with some of your ways.

I think you will have alot of people tell you to drip here. I on the otherhand believe that the corals need no water acclimation but only temp acclimation. I literly just put them in after temp acclimating. I have never lost a coral from acclimation problems.

+3 only temp acclimate here to! you may want to read up on doing a iodine dip to kill any negative hitchhikers but other then that temp acc is all you need IMO.

I temp acclimate, then take them out of the water for a few seconds, and then right into my tank.

I forgot to mention I take this step also plus an interceptor bath on my SPS

personally i hv never acclimated my corals. shake and put inside the tank. if its zoas, i'd dip in freshwater 1st for 1 minute.
