how to add snails

Well unless they are astera snails they will upright themselves. After they are acclimated just dump them in. Sea critters play dead if you touch them, snails just drop and sea stars go stiff....they are just fine, leave them alone. If after a 4 hours they have not moved fom the spot they fell to, they might have arrived DOA

Are they astrea snails???? Use a plastic rod from a window blind, or a long piece of a rigid tube....otherwise they can upright themselves.
I never buy astrea snails, so I never had a snail that can't get up and upright themselves. If you stress this bad over a snail, what are you going to do when real problems arise?
