how to attach to a frag?

I have an Alveopora (at least I think it is??) that split of a piece naturally.
Now how am I to remove this and attach it to something so it can become a new one in my tank??

Does it have a soft head (flowers) and a stoney body? I dont know anything about this coral but it should be similar to our corals if we can get the basics.

Cut the umbilical cord with a razor or scissors, then place the frag in a low flow area of your choice and see if it will attach naturally. If not, you may have to secure it somehow (glue, rocks, etc.).
